Search bar instead of search icon in the header of Modular theme

Can anyone help me find a way to code a search bar instead of a search icon on the Modular theme?

Every tutorial I come across is using Dawn or something else that has a "header.liquid" section and not a "search.liquid" section.

The code they are altering is the "search-in-modal" part of the code but that is no where to be seen on the Modular theme.

Any help is appreciated,

Paid themes have different code structures compared to free themes, so you might need a developer to achieve this design. Let us know if you're interested. Thanks!
