Selected Variant Images Grouping - Dawn theme

Hello,

i am using Dawn theme and I want to group images to show only images when the color is selected: I tought this was a basic function for ecommerce but apparently not..

I am goign through different videos and their "product info" section always as a loooot more functions than mine.

One guy has literally the "Selected Variant Images Grouping" option to just turn on and off.

I don't have anything, on the product section i can only decide the shape of the variant selector :///

Is something wrong with my shopify? Why don't I have these funtions?

In alternative, can you suggest me a theme that has the function "show only images of the selected colors" by default?

Welcome to Shopify Community.

Yes, there are themes that do have this option such as Be yours or Motion. You can check them. But if you find them expensive it can also be hardcoded in existing Dawn theme. Let me know if you need any help.

Hi @MarJan2 I see this is an old post and I hope you already have solved this problem. I wanted to share solution for the people coming from search. I am founder of Rubik Variant Images app which is solving the problem of displaying only selected variant images on the product page. Our app is also well integrated with Dawn theme.
