Selecting the right shopify template and customizing features

I am looking to build a shopify site based on an existing site we have, and need help selecting the correct template based on our needs that will involve customization. We have a list of what we think are included shopify features and then a list of must have's for the new site at launch and want to discuss and review the list with someone to make sure our assumptions are correct and get guidance/costs for the custom features we're looking for.
