Sense theme loading issues

I'm using a modified version of the sense theme, and I'm noticing an issue when the store first starts loading...

I currently have the shadows disabled on most of the cards (product, collection, etc.)

However, when the site is loading, the shadows load for several seconds and then disappear. It also seems like the site is taking longer to load, and I'm wondering if it's because it's loading the shadows and then loading their removal. It just looks so bad, and makes a cringey first impression.

How do I fix this? I honestly don't want the shadows anywhere on the theme, so if there's a way to clean things up, I'm all for it.

I tried to check on my side, change network to slow 3G an still cannot see the issue as you mention.

You can try this code by following these steps: 

Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code.

Step 2: Search file theme.liquid

Step 3: Paste the below code at the bottom of the file -> Save
