Seperate booking page within our online retail store

Hi so we have an online pet store www.felixnfido.co.nz but we are about to expand and add a private dog park to our business (people can book a private secure area for just them and their dogs)

So I was wondering can I have 2 urls pointing at the same shopify site?

www.felixnfido.co.nz  will take customers to our normal online retail store but with a seperate section for the dog park.  And on the opposite end www.fidosfield.co.nz will take a customer directly to the dog park info / booking pages but with lots of links to the online retail store.

So in a way a website within a website, both linked as businesses but operating independantly of each other...

Hope that makes sense...please ask away if not

Thanks

FelixnFido (New Zealand)

Hi FelixnFido team,

Thank you for sharing your exciting expansion plans — it sounds like a fantastic opportunity to grow your brand and connect with even more pet lovers!

To answer your question: yes, it’s absolutely possible to have both URLs pointing to the same Shopify store, while offering a Cohesive but distinct experience for each part of your business.

This can be achieved through clever use of subpages, navigation tweaks, custom landing pages, and domain forwarding—all while maintaining a strong brand connection between the two.

I’d love to walk you through a few creative options on how we can set this up to maximize visibility, bookings, and sales across both offerings. Would you like me to map out a quick strategy to your goals?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hello @FelixnFido

On Shopify, you can connect multiple domains to the same store, and you can set one as the primary domain, but they’ll all land visitors at the same storefront by default.

Here’s how you can get close to what you want:

  • Connect both domains to Shopify:
You can add both felixnfido.co.nz and fidosfield.co.nz inside your Shopify admin under Settings → Domains.
  • Set URL forwarding or special landing pages:
Since Shopify doesn’t let you have two totally separate "homepages," what you can do is:
  • Make a special landing page for Fido’s Field (like felixnfido.co.nz/pages/fidosfield):
    • Then, set a domain redirect for fidosfield.co.nz to that landing page directly (using a forwarding rule outside Shopify, like in your domain registrar settings).
  • Link the two businesses together on-site:
Inside your menus and headers, you can add links to cross-promote. Example:
    • In your shop’s main nav, have a link that says "Book a Private Dog Park."
    • On the Fido’s Field landing page, have clear buttons saying "Shop Pet Supplies."
