Setting an Minimum Order Quantity

Hi,

I am wanting to see if we are able to set the quantity on the products page to a certain amount.

For example I am trying to get sell branded merchandise which requires the buyer to purchase a minimum of 100 units or maximum 500 units . But I am wanting to show what the cost will be per unit.

Is this possible?

Hi @Prod_JEMPP,

You can set your product variants to be in specific quantities (e.g. 100, 250, 500 etc) but this would not limit a customer's ability to order over the limit you've set—they could buy 2x of the 500 variant, for example. This also would not display the price of an individual unit.

Your best bet may be to use an app that allows you to set order limits on your products, of which there are many on the Shopify App Store. Some examples include MinMaxify and OrderLogic.

You can try the MultiVariants - Bulk order app for setting up minimum/maximum purchase restrictions.

After adding your product variants to Shopify you have to set up your preferred minimum and maximum restriction by using this app. And then once you are done with the setup by using the MultiVariants - Bulk order app apply minimum/maximum purchase restriction from the backend. Then the app will automatically work on the product page.

This app has many more features like the minimum-maximum limit on both quantity and value, increment, predefined bundle, and many more.

Here is a Demo product where the minimum order quantity is 12 and the maximum order quantity is 30. You won't be able to go to the cart page without selecting at least 12 variants and if you select more than 30 variants.
