Shopify dawn password protected single page

Hello, I am trying to password a single page on my Shopify store, I am using Shopify's dawn theme. The page im wanting to protect is to be used by employees only and I was hoping to just have it pop up so they have to enter a simple password to get into that single page, any help is greatly appreciated!

This is David at SalesHunterThemes.

You can add password protection for your online store.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Preferences.

2. Scroll to the Password protection area, and check Restrict access to visitors with the password.

3. In Password, enter the password that you'll give to the customers who you want to be able to access your online store. Don't use the same password that you use to log into your admin.

4. In Message for your visitors, enter the message that you want to show on the password page. If you don't want to show a message, then leave this field blank.

5. Click Save

just need a single page not entire store,  a single custom page that is password protected

I dont think it's a simple setup as that is, ive tried a couple different ways even some css and still nothing.

It doesn't work for my theme, unfortunately, but it's gotten a lot of positive reviews. I hope this helps!
