Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi!
I know that is possible to test the customer experience in a different country by adding the parameter ?currency=ISO-code to the end of an online store. E.g. store.myshopify.com?currency=GBP
Since almost one year ago with the new Shopify International Pricing, I'm wondering if it's possible to test the changes on the store pricing adding some parameters like the example before with the currencies. The problem is that Google Merchant reports some bugs if the bot goes to your site and don't see the same prices as you submit them in the feed on the Merchant Center.
So for example I would need something like
Is there any URL parameter to see store.myshopify.com?currency=EUR?country=FR or store.myshopify.com?currency=EUR?country=ES?
Thanks!
You first need to add the currencies in the payment section of your Shopify Account.
Then when you add the currency parameter it should work.
Hi @EmmanuelFlossie!
Thanks for your response but that is not my question 🙂 I know that.
The problem is that when you use Shopify International Pricing you can have different prices in Spain (EUR country) and in France (EUR country), for example. Therefore, I was wondering if a URL parameter for the country would exist as the same parameter that exists for the currency.
The problem is that this is necessary in order not to have problems with Google Merchant. Because when the bot access the store should see the prices as you have submitted in your feed in the Merchant Center.
Good question, I have not handled this before. I recommend contacting Shopify support.
