Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I click on the Product tab from the side banner of my admin page, select the products, select edit, and attempt to add columns. However, no matter what I do, I can't get any of the added columns to save. I have tried clearing my cache, logging out of Shopify, and accessing the account from a different web browser.
Anyone have any idea what is up with this? I need to add some of the columns from the Inventory section but I can't because of this technical issue.
Hi @kerningko ,
I think you are talking about the theme editor right? Usually it does save if there is another theme editor opened. If you have other people that has access to your store, ask them to close there theme editor.
I don't believe any one else is currently accessing the store. I am talking about this screen--notice how the save button won't light-up green? Every time I exit, the rightmost two columns I've added disappear.
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue. I'm simply trying to add columns but the Save button is greyed out and is unclickable.
I am having the same issue - it's a glitch that started happening sometime this year - previously it would automatically default to whatever your column configuration was the last time you edited - which was perfect.... now apparently Shopify has decided that they know best what columns we need and if we want any different configuration then we just have to keep setting it up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
