Sign in/ email/waitlist with Google/facebook account

Hi!  Just saw this site today https://pika.art/ and thought its mechanism is much better than having people type in to sign up for email list.  

is it possible to have this on Shopify platform?

Unfortunately, this is not possible with Shopify Platform. Because the account and customer are all managed in Shopify, and its not connect to those different platform like Google or Discord.

I’m not saying use this to sign in but more of using this to collect email addresses, if possible. Basically need a 3p plug in that can be planted on a Shopify page that’s linked to Google/facebook and can collect user information.

Yes, none of the above things is possible to connect with Shopify.

About email, i suggest you can try Klaviyo

With those apps i think it will match if your requirements is allow customers to login by socials platform.

I thouhgt that you want to connect other platform to your admin store ( login to store by those platform ) which is not possible
