@TG16

This issue likely arises because Shopify allows you to design and customize your store for specific markets or localizations, such as different regions or countries. If you've customized your store for the United States but are viewing it in the default or global market setting, the changes won't carry over unless you synchronize the design across all markets.

Here’s how you can resolve it:

1. Check Your Market Settings

  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Markets.
  2. Locate the United States market and ensure it’s active.
  3. If there are other active markets (like "Default Market"), Shopify may show different content when viewing the site from outside the US.

2. Synchronize Content Between Markets

Shopify lets you create separate content for each market, which might explain the differences you’re seeing. To synchronize the US content across all markets:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Markets.
  2. Click on your Default Market or any other active market.
  3. Ensure that your storefront settings, such as product descriptions, themes, or translations, are consistent with the United States market.

3. Verify Theme Content

Some themes allow for localized content through Sections or Metafields. If your customizations are only visible under the US settings:

  1. Check for localized theme settings:
    • Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
    • At the top of the editor, look for a dropdown to select a specific market or localization.
    • Switch to the United States setting and compare with the Default or other markets.
  2. Copy any changes from the US setting to the default/global settings.

4. Clear Your Browser Cache

Sometimes changes aren't reflected because of cached data:

  1. Clear your browser cache or use an incognito window to test.
  2. Ensure you’re viewing the site as a US customer:

5. Set the United States as the Default Market

If you want all customers to see the US version of your store by default:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Markets.
  2. Set the United States as your default market:
    • Locate the market and click Manage.
    • Set it as default or disable other active markets to redirect all traffic to the US storefront.

6. Test Your Storefront

  • Use a VPN or location-based testing tool to view your site as a customer from the United States.
  • Compare the US version of your site to other regions to ensure the content is consistent.

7. Review Currency and Language Settings

If your US content is tied to a specific currency or language:

  • Go to Settings > Markets > United States.
  • Ensure currency and language settings are applied consistently across all markets.

8. Optional: Redirect Non-US Visitors

To make sure all visitors see the US storefront:

  • Add a geo-redirect using Shopify apps or custom Liquid code to direct all visitors to the US market
