Slideshow image size Theme Trade

Hello, community.

I'm a newbie here and I'm struggling to find the best size for my slideshow images.
These are the sizes I tried:

1920x1080 , 2550x1000 , 1920x510 , 1200 x 400 - but all these sizes or the banner gets to big or cut a lot of the visual focus (I tried small, medium, large sizes, and adapt to the first image options).

Anyone, can help me?

Welcome to Shopify community. 

Acorrding to shopify, a common recommendation is to use images that are at least 2048 x 2048 pixels, which provides a good balance between quality and performance. You can provide me your store URL, I will check more detail. Or you can try these few steps: 

1. Aspect Ratio: assure to maintain consitent aspect ratio with the slideshow dimensions. Common ratios will be 16:9 (like 1920 x 1080) or 2:1 ( like 2550x1000). 

2. Recommended Sizes: you can try the 16:9 aspect ratio, it is most common used ratio for slideshow image, then the standard resolution of image can go with 1920 x 1080. This size is commonly used for widescreen displays across most devices.

3. Theme setting: Try to take advantages of the theme setting of Adapt the fist image to maintain the image height( small, medium, large)  to fit your needs. Adapt the first image setting will make sure the same height as the first image for all the images on the slideshow. You can enable it on Theme > customize > Find the slideshow section and look for the Slide height > Select Adapt to first image.

My store is placplac.myshopify.com 

I have tried 1920x1080 and also 2550x1000 - but even when I select small for the image size, the height is big as I want for my store. Any light on this?
