Slideshow - What should be the image dimension for slides?

I have used Dawn template and added slideshow section to it, and image dimension is 4320 * 2160. It looks perfectly fine on editor, but does not work well with Preview and mobile version. Images are not responsive.

About the issue,

First, you can check on setting on SlideShow find here has the setting regarding to set width or height of slide, or image ratio here. You can try change those setting first.

Dawn is a flexible theme, but slideshow images need to be optimized for responsiveness. Try with a proposed aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3 and size about 2000 x 1000 px—sharp enough without being too big.

Shopify themes will automatically crop the images depending on the screen size, thus center-focused images with safe margins (not with text or essential details near the edges) will remain visible on devices. Also, check if the "Adapt to first image" setting is enabled in the slideshow section, which may affect consistency.

In dawn theme, for making the banner/ slider responsive for desktop and mobile the dimension will be 16:9, In pixel you can do 1920x1080px or 2880x1620px 

Also you have to a some setting change like the screenshot
