Soyta Theme - Product Descriptions not shown on live view

Hi There,

 

I am experiencing this issue, recently applied the Soyta theme to my store and everything looks great, but seem to have lost the product descriptions on implementation.

There does not appear to be an option to remedy this, so I'm reaching out to the community for any help or suggestions.

Hi, @saajidblue.

Thanks for your message, I would be happy to help you out with this. I would first recommend checking an unpublished Shopify theme to see if your product descriptions show up there. You can do this by heading to Online Store>Themes>Free Themes>Explore free themes then select a fresh Shopify theme and click Action>Preview or "Customize" to view the unpublished theme. If your product descriptions show up as they should, this points to a problem with your primary theme. 


If this is the case, your next step will be to reach out to the developers of your theme. Soyta is a theme developed and supported by a team called "Theme Forest" and you can reach out to them directly on their support page here. They should be able to walk you through what is happening here. Just a friendly note, if you have manually manipulated the coding for your theme, the developers may not be able to help you out as they did not write the coding you may have added. If that is the case, your next steps would be to reach out to a Shopify Expert

Thanks, descriptions appear in the preview of DEBUT and MINIMAL themes, will reach out to Theme Forest for assistance.
