Theme change help

Hi everyone, I’m very new to Shopify and just getting my head around things. Hoping to get there in the end. I somehow started to create my shop with the theme “spotlight” however after playing around with it I’m not loving it. I want to switch to craft but it’s asking me to upgrade my plan. My shop isn’t up and running I’m still building it. Can I start creating with the craft theme without any changes to my plan

May I know what is your current theme? If your current theme is basic plan, that should be okay. You can start creating with the craft theme with no error. If you are still having issues, if the spotlight theme is no longer needed, you can try to delete the theme and start new with Craft theme.

Thank you for replying. It’s currently on spotlight and I have uploaded some of my products etc. after uploading it seemed too simple so wanted to add something with more options. If I change the them do I start all over adding products. Still can’t work out how to make it roll over. I haven’t gone live yet still working on it
