Theme upgrade help please 🙏🏼

I am on the Dawn 13.0 theme. I recently (maybe 2 months ago) updated from 8.0 version. The same week I did this, my Facebook ads quit working and are no longer tracking correctly. The pixel is at least triple tracking each event and the numbers are all crazy wrong. I have an ads specialist that can’t figure it out and he has also brought Facebook help into the problem and they couldn’t figure it out either.  

Could this have something to do with the theme update? Did I not get something switched over correctly? I know that it said something about edits to the code not automatically updating and I am sure I missed something there (I just don’t know what). Obviously I am not good at a lot of this technical stuff and just figure out enough to get by.  Please help if it is something I could have done wrong. 🙏🏼

Hi @SandyBums It seems like there are some custom code that has been added in your 8.0 version which didn't moved when you have upgraded to 13.0 version, earlier we use to track the sales from facebook by adding the code manually in the theme, and I think, that code is missing from our store, you need to check the files in your 8.0 version and compare the code, and hopefully you will find the problem.

If you will unable to implement the same then I'm happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.

Where would I find this code? I checked and compared the codes last night and couldn’t find anything that was different that has anything to do with Facebook.
