Top front page video that plays automatically

How do I put in a top front page video that plays automatically when entering the site? 
I can add a section with a video, but I can't make it full width, and I can't seem to make it play automatically when entering the site. 
The theme is Dawn. 

1. Make the video play automatically

2. Full width video right below my header

3. I have the video downloaded, how do I upload it?

I will answer the questions one by one

1. Make the video play automatically

You can go to Edit theme code, open file video.liquid and add autoplay param to video URL, like this. Please note that autoplay will not work on mobile, because mobile browsers block it always.

2. Make the video full width

In the Video section setting, check this checkbox

3. Upload video

In Shopify Admin, you can go to Settings > Files to upload the video, then you can copy the URL and use it. You can not use the video URL in the Video block of the theme, because it only support Youtube/Vimeo, so if you want to use it for the Video block, you should upload the video to Youtube/Vimeo and get the URL there.

Will it autoplay without popup, or do you want to click show popup and then autoplay?
