Trade theme - how to view multiple images simultaneously in slideshow

The trade theme only has the option to view one image at a time, you have to scroll to see the next image. There is no grid option unlike other templates.

Is there a workaround to be able to see multiple images (say 4-5)  simultaneously before scrolling to see the remainder?
