Two Cookie Popups Showing – How to Remove One?

Hi,

I’m currently using the Debutify theme. However, I’m facing an issue where two cookie popups are showing up on my site. Here are the links for reference: Popup 1 Popup 2 (the one I want to keep) I only want the second popup (the one in the second link) to appear on my site. The first one seems unrelated to the Debutify theme, and I’m not sure how to remove it. Has anyone faced a similar issue before or knows how to fix this? Any guidance on identifying and removing the unwanted popup would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It looks like the first popup you're seeing is the default cookie banner from Shopify.

You can remove it by following these steps:

1️⃣ In your Shopify admin panel, navigate to Settings > Customer Privacy > Cookie Banner.
2️⃣ Click the More Actions button located at the top left corner, then select Remove Cookie Banner.
3️⃣ Confirm by clicking the Remove button and make sure to save your settings.

Once you've removed the unwanted banner, ensure that the 31 recommended countries for GDPR compliance are selected in your settings. If you sell to other regions and want to block Shopify cookies beyond these countries, you can also add more regions based on your target locations.

Regarding the second popup, having a banner alone doesn’t necessarily mean the store is fully compliant with GDPR regulations. If you'd like, feel free to share your store’s URL, and we’d be happy to check its compliance for you.
