Unlicensed Theme?! What!?

I recently received an email from [email protected] saying that my theme was flagged as unlicensed and needs to be resolved. I purchased this Dawn theme from Shopify so do not understand why it was flagged as such. 

Is this a legitimate message? If so what do I do?

Shopify don't email you from a @gmail address. It's a scam. Delete it and ignore.

I'm a Shopify UI/UX Designer, and I'd like to let you know that all Shopify store websites come with the free Dawn theme. Any messages saying otherwise should be ignored since they are probably frauds. Shopify will never get in touch with you via a personal email address.

Take the following actions to confirm the legitimacy of any communication:

1. Access the backend of your Shopify store.
2. Look for any alerts or cautions in your theme area, like "Action Required."
You should disregard the message you received if you don't see any alerts there as it is not from Shopify.
