Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello guys!
Is it possible to update the number of products in the cart and see the change appear without the page reloading automatically? The page reload jerks the page and it appears weird.
URL: shopcutify.com
Thank you!
@StoreHelpNeeded it is possible and there's no other easy way to it but code it out making an ajax request to the cart to add items and display a small message of added to cart.
Can you please help me with this?
@StoreHelpNeeded definitely. I believe you are using the Brooklyn theme which is kind of a paid one I guess so it won't be available for me since I am on a development store, I mean it won't let me edit code.
So I would actually need access to your store. If it was just a bit of css or something I wouldn't have needed it but this requires JavaScript and a bit of html css so there's few lines to write here. Hope you understand.
Thanks
There is probably a typo or something on the link,it's not opening. Please check.
I can see the cart updating when i added few products. Where is the problem actually?
It is updating, everything good with that, but it is reloading the page everytime I add +1 product quantity, it is possible to make so only the product table reloads and not the whole page?
Ohh okay, so the problem is in the cart page actually on increasing or decreasing the product quantity.
I can try debugging this but will need collaborator access to your store to see the code and modify it accordingly.
Hello @StoreHelpNeeded
I reviewed your store and noticed you are using a third-party app for discounts on your checkout page. I understand how frustrating it can be in 2024 to have to reload the page for updating a small detail.
The best solution is custom code, and I can help you with that. Please feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
