Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi there!
My website url: https://thesnoozy.com/
I currently change the prices manually on every product to get the discount that I need.
I would like to change that by using discount codes that are always active on the product, so that I can just change the percentage discount instead of calculatin how much 30% is.
But when I use the discount option, it doesn't show on the product, only when it's in the cart.
I would like for it to show like this.
Hi @GeorgeRizos
You would need an app for this level of automation, or a half-measure advanced theme customization.
A half-measure theme customization would put a percentage metafield on products so you can bulk edit that and then the theme does the % off calculation and replaces the set compare-at-price. This way at least your saving some time not having to do the calc each time, but you'd still be editing products but preferably through the bulk editor every time you make a discount change.
For automation you'd use an app like mechanic to script custom logic to operate on discounts and update variants compare-at-price properties. There are discount example but nothing this specific https://tasks.mechanic.dev/?q=discount
If you need this automation, or customization then contact me by mail for services contact info in signature, or click here to mail me.
ALWAYS please provide context, examples: store url, theme name, post url(s) , or any further detail in ALL correspondence.
