Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi,
I am wondering if any one can help me?
I have added some product variants to my store and and the variant swatches on my product grid on the collection page use the colour that is closest to the named colour. I have an item that is named 'Rose Gold' but the coloured swatch shows gold as I suppose this is the closest colour. I have created a metaobject that allows me to input a hex code for the colour or a image of the colour in question and I am wanting to link the metaobject so that the swatches on the product grid on the collection page shows the metaobject colours and not the colours that shopify picks. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @LittlePoppetsco
Can you please share the store URL and password (if applied) ?
So i can check and find the issue..
You can DM me so we can discuss more stuff about it.
Have you added the colors in metafield and set it in the element as the background color ?
Hi Parth,
I am unsure what you mean. As I add more product variants I will add more colours along the way in the metaobject.
in regards to the background element, I do not know what this means
Kind Regards,
Daniel
