Variant pictures not changing - do I need to upgrade the theme (Dawn 15.2.0 --> 15.3.0) ?

I recently noted that the variant pictures are no longer changing. I tried adding a new product because I thought it was broken, but it's the same. Do I need to upgrade the theme or is this a known issue?

Hi @svepia Have you assigned images to variants. Normally images are changing based on images assigned to variants.

Yes, images are assigned - but I upgraded the theme and it solved the problem.
