Variant Pills

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently trying to add variants to upsell some frames for my artwork.

I am trying to add some variant pills with images but my problem is that the variant images are then added to my product pages and I would like that these images are not shown on the front end of the product page and only on the variant pills.

My problem is that I was able to hide the images using some CSS, on the product page gallery and the thumbnail but when clicking on the variant it will still try to display the images even when these are supposed to be hidden.

I was able to hide the black variant but it will still switch to the product image when selected. I tried adding some Javascript to handle the issue but it did not work.

I would like to remove the image switcher when a user selects one of these variants so that the user stays on the current product image (it doesn't automatically switch to a different image). And also, try to hide those variant images.

How can I achieve that?
