Video Content Block plays sometimes/once on mobile iOS then goes black

Our page is located at www.usefulmockups.com We have a Video Content Block using a Vimeo link. Our store is using Dawn 15 and the video lives on our homepage. It plays fine on desktop but on mobile it only plays sometimes and when it does, it only plays once. Then it goes black on page reload and never plays again. Curious if anyone has any insight into this?

Not sure... I have tested the site on both mobile and desktop in mobile view and nothing. Everything is working perfectly and I can play the video and replay the video after. 

Maybe it is a local issue? Try clearing your browser cache and opening a incognito window and check there. If you notice a difference it is most likely your device.

Hmm, I tried clearing all caches on both my iphone and my desktop. Same scenario presents itself. Desktop works fine in all the browsers, reload and everything. On iOS it renders the thumbnail - I press play and then it just goes to black and plays nothing. I don't have anything fancy enabled on the phone browser. It also does the same exact thing on iOS for iPad. Any other ideas of what it could be?

Also something funny happens that I just realized. If I click into any of our products and then press the back button - it loads the video showing the vimeo thumbnail and plays again. maybe disabling the thumbnail could work? I'll try that for the sake of troubleshooting but I prefer the Shopify thumbnail I uploaded

nope - same problem even with the thumbnail disabled.

iOS: Are you using Safari? I would try another browser and see if your theme is fully compatible with safari or that your safari is fully updated. I have seen so many issues with safari.
