Video play button not showing on mobile for video on product page, in carousel (sense theme)

I added a video to my product page, in the carousel, in the Sense theme. On desktop it looks and plays fine. But on mobile there is no way to play the video, even if you click on it, its basically just a still thumbnail. How can I add a play button over the video so mobile user know how and can play it?

Note: The only way to get the video to play on mobile is to change the product page carousel mobile layout to "show thumbnails" then the visitor has to click the video thumbnail for it to play. I don't want thumbnails as it takes up too much space.
