View Product images too compressed and blurry with buy button and Dawn theme.

I am having trouble improving the quality of my shop images. They appear to be compressed to optimize loading, but they are far from ideal for shoppers to get a look at the images. Specifically I'm talking about the images within the View Product form, and the ALT images associated with the product.

I am using the Dawn theme and a buy button plugin, and I have done some tweaking but can't seem to figure this one out. Anyone with a similar issue?

I can see that the intrinsic size of the product images are indeed lower than the rendered size. Which is not good. I need to take a look at the liquid code to understand further.

I'm still looking for a solution for this. If you find anything let me know! From my research there are quite a few folks having the same issue. Thank you for looking into it!
