want to allocate different banner on all the different collection pages with creating pages

hi,

i want to put different banner on different collection page but for now it is showing same banner image on all the pages. is there any way i can put different image without making pages to every single collection

Hi @Advertfox 

You can easily update the collection banner with the banner image for each you need to follow these steps:

Step One:

1. Go to setting
2. find custom
3. in meta fields go to the collection
4. create an image Metafield

Step Two:

1. Go to each Collection 
2. scroll to the bottom you see the meta field you created in step one 
3. Updated the image there and do this for all collection

Step Three:

1. Gog to online store > themes
2. click on three dots 
3. select code editor
4. Search for collection-main_grid.liquid
5. search for banner image code 
6. replace the code image source with the meta field image 

These are the steps you need to follow to add the image dynamic according to collection this may require some liquid modification if you can do it by yourself that is good otherwise you can share your collaboration code I will help you out in this.

If you’d like to use different images for desktop and mobile, that’s also possible! We can set up additional metafields for mobile-specific images and update the collection template to display the correct image based on the device.
