White borders around product pictures

Could you please help me with the following problem. 

Under product pictures there is a white/transparent border either on the left and right or above and under the picture depending if the picture is vertical or horisontal. That creates the problem that the product text does not align with the picture. Is there a way to align text and picture or take out the whites on the sides of the pictures? I use the Debut theme.
