Hi, I get the feeling this might be something obvious but I am quite technical and I seem to have exhausted all my options! I am just beginning a store using the Debut theme, and I've added about eight products. When I go into the theme editor and click the products page, none of the products is showing.
They don't show when I preview my store, or when I click the product link on the menu. (the Menu link navigates to Products > All Products. The products are definitely there and all variations have been set, and I can preview the product page itself. The products just don't seem to populate the Products page, which is what I would expect to see on the website. When I previewed products page I get the square boxes in a grid, but my products are not in there.
Am I being daft?
Hope someone can help, it's driving me mad!
Thank you!

Rookie error - thank you.
It's a pain that they have to be activate done at a time - what is that all about??
Thank you for responding and helping out, it made a difference to my day for sure! Much appreciated.
Jason.
The reason it was implemented last year was that some feedback was that people didn't always want their new products published immediately, which I get. I duplicate products from other products so when I would do that I would have to go and uncheck them from their sales channels straight away. Works for me, doesnt work for a lot of people.
I guess that makes sense, but a way to select multiple products and choose to Activate etc. would be very helpful.
Despite a very fast internet connection I find the Product update etc. areas so slow . Even compared to other areas of the admin.
thanks again for your help.
For people wanting to do this with API, make sure to set the published_scope field to "global" and published_at field to current date time and provide both fields in the update product API payload.
OMG, thank you for posting this question. I'm pretty good with computers but this new Shopify experience is all new for me. I thought I was going crazy. They were all showing as active, and I published them, but I didn't know that I also had to add them to my shop channel. I was racking my brain trying to think why they were not showing up on my shop. Thank you to the person that posted the question and thank you for the person that answered the question. You saved me a lot of time. Shopify is not user friendly and has no place to ask questions. You're on your own once you start. I'm hoping this is because it keeps out people that really don't want to do this and they are just playing around.
