What could be the problem, why do I have the label in stock (it used to be called on sale) when I have it marked as out of stock?

Hello @Daniil_P13, Go to your product admin and open this product, check the setting in the inventory which is "Continue selling when out of stock".  if this checkbox is checked then please unchecked this and see the results. please see the screenshot below.

Hello @Daniil_P13, Then you should check the label code, check where it comes from and find out when it show a in-stock with which conditions.
