Why does an 'updated price' pop up appear at checkout?

For some reason on my store whenever I add a product to the cart and try to check out, an “updated price” pop up shows and displays a lower price in my checkout. I do not know what this is or how to deactivate it. Any help would be appreciated.

Please go to your store admin > Settings > Taxes and duties > Global Settings, if you select any option, please uncheck it, Save setting and check again on your store
