Why is my website title and meta description not showing on Google?

Hi All,

My website has recently stopped showing my title and meta description on Google. I have already reached out to the theme's dev team and they have referred me back to Shopify and Shopify have referred me back to the theme's dev team, so no help from either. Previous to now, it was fine, then suddenly the title became "American Express" when running a basic SEO audit. The audit now says both title and met description are missing. Showing on Google is my business name as the title and a random bit of text pulled from my website. My theme is Flex. Is this happening to anyone else, would love to hear?

Can anyone assist with this please. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much for your reply. Most of this is beyond me lol. Hence why I reached out to both Shopify and the Flex dev team, but they both just passed me off to the other.

I had leftover code from an SEO app that I uninstalled that was causing the issue
