Why is Shopify not letting me link text to YouTube?

Hello,

My client wants to hyperlink specified text to lead to their YouTube channel from one of their blog post. There are other hyperlinks on the same blog post that work properly with one-click. However, the text that is linked to YouTube, only works when you right-click>open in new Tab. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Under step #3, first bullet point. The text reading “6 Steps to Healthy Hands” does not lead to the YouTube channel video unless you right-click.

@Isabel2648 - it opened a popup, did you add any app or some code which opens link in pop up?

Yes, there is a pop up app implemented on the site.

@Isabel2648 - will need to remove that functionality, or may need to take help from some very expert javascript developer who can open it in new tab,
