Why isn't my dropdown menu working in the Dawn theme?

I cannot for the life of me get my dropdown/hover/nested menu (whatever you want to call it) in "Dawn" theme to work. I have made all the menu items, all the pages with links input, and all made "visible" but when I go to "view store" and hover over the header menu bar on the titles, there is no dropdown at all. I don't understand. Can someone please help? This was so easy with the old version of Shopify.

@terraoceana - please check that you have set up the nested menu as your header menu, may be you have multiple menus and the one which is not nested has been set as the main menu
