Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I recently created a store on Shopify and successfully pointed my GoDaddy domain to it. Initially, I published a 'Coming Soon' page using GoDaddy's website builder, Airo. However, now when I try to change my Shopify theme, the changes are not reflected on my store.
I have spent several hours searching for a solution, including clearing caches, but to no avail. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Could it be an issue with Shopify or GoDaddy?
Hi @TalhaAnwer
This issue is likely due to GoDaddy's 'Coming Soon' page from Airo still being active and overriding the Shopify site. Here’s how to fix it:
1- Remove the Airo 'Coming Soon' page: Log in to GoDaddy and disable or delete the 'Coming Soon' page. This should stop it from overriding your Shopify site.
2- Check DNS settings: Ensure that your GoDaddy DNS settings are pointing to Shopify correctly:
Once you make these changes, wait for DNS propagation (which may take up to 24 hours) and then try accessing your Shopify store again.
If you have other questions, I am willing to answer them too.
Best regards,
Daisy
