Why won't the product scheme change on my Spotlight theme?

Hello,

I'm having an issue with changing the Scheme of my product. When I change it to the black scheme on either options it stays on the white and yellow one. I'm using the Spotlight theme.

Also, when scrolling up the black pulls away and the background is white. I don't like it because my website's stye is black so does anyone know how to fix these issues?
