Will custom css changes migrate over when I update my theme?

I have edited my client's website using the CSS in the theme customiser. If I then update this theme will these customisations move over as well?

I know any code added in the 'edit code' section won't, but what about the new CSS editor in the theme customiser

Please let me know if this will work.

Regards your concern, code in the Edit code will not be migrate to the new theme, but the code you've did in the section part in theme customizer will stay for your updated theme.
