0 available, 0 in stock - digital downloads

Hi, my store only sells digital downloads but my inventory is 0 , with 0 available, 0 in stock and only pre-orders listed. 😕

Each product has the 'digital' selection turned on. What am I missing here? Any ideas on what else I need to update?

You need to make sure you have "Track quantity" disabled when creating/updating your product.

If you're only selling digital products, then inventory shouldn't be an issue because digital products don't deplete stock like physical goods.

From what you're describing, it seems like the inventory settings on your products might be set incorrectly. For digital products on Shopify, you want to make sure of the following:

1. Turn off Inventory Tracking: When you're setting up or editing your digital products, ensure that you're not tracking inventory for those products. You can do this by going to the product details and under the 'Inventory' section, selecting 'Don't track inventory'. With digital goods, your inventory should essentially be infinite since you're not dealing with physical stock.

2. Don't Enable 'Continue selling when out of stock': This setting doesn't need to be enabled for digital products since, again, you're not dealing with physical stock that can run out. Enabling this might cause confusion with your inventory settings.

If you've checked all of these settings and are still having issues, I would recommend reaching out to Shopify Support directly. They should be able to take a closer look at your settings and provide more specific guidance.
