Hello,

"I've built this website and put a lot of hard work into it, but I can't seem to get any conversions from 3,500 visitors.

Could someone take a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is it the template, the content, or do I just have the wrong audience? I notice that people spend a lot of time on the site, but no one makes a purchase." i used tiktok and my ads get top 5 of best ads.

certainly the products appeal to a crowd you should crowd.  I have some gemstones.  friends would sell them at concerts and I would go to some gem and mineral shows.   instagram might be good.  I hear tiktok is good but I am not familiar with it.

I don't like how the currency / language converter operates.  I am in the U.S. and it shows up in French and in CAD.  it makes it obvious the products are being shipped from overseas which is less than appealing. there has to be a better way.

I would make the top/bottom margins of the header smaller.  lots of wasted space (I'm on desktop)

I would change the menu around a bit.  your blog posts are the first few links.  maybe try to make the collection pages the links (or at least the fiist links) then make the blogs secondary.  when I'm on the site and start clicking around I forget it's a ecommerce site.  try to direct the customer on where you want them to go.  that's why you see something like "Buy Now" or Shop Now" on virtually every site ecom site.  you. don't have to say that but you only have a short amount of time to get a sale.  make sure they know why they are on the site and where to go and what you sell at all times

maybe slim down the products to be a bit more specific and the gradually make them higher quality.  if you have a $500 piece on the site that makes people think it's high end and even if they buy a $20 item it makes them feel good.  you are selling feel good items so it's a bit nostalgic of an experience.

also, don't be married to anything you are doing or have done.  you are learning.  even the mistakes help you learn.  don't be afraid to completely change the design, or scrap a bunch of products, etc. keep making it better.  a year from now the site is going to be completely different.  and that's okay. it evolves as you gain more experience.

just my 2am 2 cents!!!

Hi @frederick123

It sounds like you're facing a common challenge where your website is attracting visitors but not converting them into customers. Here are a few potential areas to investigate based on the context provided:

  1. Audience Alignment: Ensure that your marketing efforts, especially on platforms like TikTok, are reaching the right audience. TikTok users appreciate authenticity and connection, so make sure your content resonates with them and aligns with their expectations.

  2. Content and Messaging: Review your website's content to ensure it clearly communicates the value of your products or services. The content should align with what your audience is looking for and address their needs or pain points.

  3. Call-to-Action (CTA): Check if your CTAs are clear and compelling. They should guide visitors towards making a purchase or taking the desired action.

  4. User Experience: Evaluate the user experience on your site. If people are spending time on your site but not converting, there might be friction points in the purchasing process that need to be addressed.

  5. Conversion Opportunities: Consider adding more conversion opportunities, such as email sign-ups or special offers, to capture leads who may not be ready to purchase immediately.

  6. Analytics and Feedback: Use tools like Google Analytics to understand visitor behavior and identify where they drop off in the conversion funnel. Gathering feedback from users can also provide insights into potential improvements.

For more detailed guidance, you might want to explore resources on optimizing conversion rates or consult with a digital marketing expert who can provide tailored advice based on a thorough analysis of your website and marketing strategy.
