1 GB Video - Error that file is larger than 20MB

On this Shopify help page:

It states:

You can add videos for your product in two ways: uploading a video file, or embedding a YouTube video link. If you're uploading video files, then make sure that they meet the following requirements:

• Video length: Up to 60 seconds
• Video size: Up to 1 GB
• Video resolution: Up to 4K (4096 x 2160 px)
• Video file type: .mp4 or .mov

You don't need to meet these requirements for embedding YouTube videos.

But when I try to upload a video I get a message stating:

The following files could not be added:

*  <...filename...mp4> exceeds the 20MB file size

How do I upload a 1GB video file?

You may need to check with Shopify Support to be sure.  Uploading to the files section is 20MB Period....

But if your theme has an Upload Video option it _might_ bypass it.  But I would check with support to be sure.

Was there any sort of update on this? Their documentation still states the limit is 1G... What did you endup doing @stevenchalmers ?

I ended up putting it on another website of mine and then linking to it from Shopify code.
