2 steps order form (Instant credit card checkout like in ClickFunnels)

My customers store clients complains that checkout process is too much outdated and too long in Shopify compared to ClickFunnels where they have 2 steps checkout form for Credit Cards:

I see that there is "Instant Checkout" button at product page for PayPal, but what about direct integration of i.e. Stripe that has such in page form.

Is there is any ways to make Shopify better in sales as it is with Click Funnels, and still have this amazingly long list of other apps in Shopify App Store to be used for business (as ClickFunnels really lacks the serious 'apps section'

Checkout customization is only available to merchants on a ShopifyPlus plan and even then be wary of shooting yourself in the foot thinking less is better without heavy research investment.

Then use clickfunnels this is literally an apple's and oranges comparison in terms of feature sets between the platforms and investment in checkout processes.

There are even some integration apps|tutorials for different scenarios.

If your managing merchant expectations you need to work out your response to these type of design perception frustrations that are so often not founded on anything solid.

Make them explain how they think ones "better" exactly.

This is horrible cliche with how merchants think UX works and expect checkouts to behave.

There is a big difference between perception of  "better" and what actually works better through effort and research and comparison and importantly: data.

Less is not more in transactions that needs detail for fulfillment. About the only exception to that is digital goods of which shopify isn't the best option in the first place.

Attempts to skip customers data entry for customers perception of "better" convenience too often goes hand in hand with an increase in backend confusion and extra unneeded communication with the customer to get all the info more slowly and more error prone which is not "better". In sort the convenience becomes a bigger inconvenience.

Shopify also has better payment flexibility as it integrates with hundreds of payment gateways.

And to do the checkout flow needs to accommodate different requirements and that is better for merchants across the world.

Shopify has the data and the current checkout process is the result of that and unlikely to change as other options like accelerated checkout facilitate "faster" checkout that seem "better".

Even ignoring those other points I'd go with the design preferred by a 3 Billion dollar publicly traded company as being "better".

What a useless response. I get it, theres a reason Shopify has 3 step checkout in your own opinion. But analytics clearly says that fewer steps in checkout equals more conversions. And on Shopify back 3 years ago there was a service that offered one step checkout integration and it was 40 a month but its been discountinued and they operate building different apps for Shopify. But at one point in time it was a thing. If you do over 3 mill a year in ecom look into Bolt Checkout. Im still diving deep into finding someone that offers this with Shopify.

Just a heads up: you can integrate ClickFunnels with Shopify. Orders can be placed through Clickfunnels and sent directly to your Shopify.

Hi all 🙂

We noticed how it can difficult to run "Free, Just Pay Shipping" promotions through a landing page with an order form on Shopify stores.

So we created the Gro Funnels app to help merchants quickly add a Free, Just Pay Shipping funnel to their store without having to spend time making workarounds work or having to maintain yet another platform from outside their preferred Shopify ecosystem.

A Free + Shipping Landing Page with Order Form created with Gro FunnelsA Free + Shipping Landing Page with Order Form created with Gro Funnels

With Gro Funnels you can easily create a Free + Shipping deal on any product in your store. The app automatically generates a landing page with an order form for your offer. Shoppers enter order details on the landing page itself - except for card details since Shopify mandates the use of the store's checkout for card payments for security reasons.

On submitting the order form on the landing page, a shopper lands directly on the payment details page of your store's checkout where they enter their card details and complete the order.

You can also choose to present a post purchase one-click offer to those who buy the Free + Shipping offer. This can help increase the returns on your Ad Campaigns. The higher revenue per lead can in turn fuel more Ad campaigns and allow bidding higher per lead.

So if you are looking to easily add a Free + Shipping sales funnel with a landing page with order form, consider Gro Funnels
