I went in to pay my subscription and noticed something that said I have not reached the 200$ threshold yet.
I searched it up and noticed people get charged 200$ I want to know how this works as it is quite concerning.
@JJGUY It sounds like you're referring to Shopify's billing structure, which may include a minimum threshold before certain fees apply. For instance, some Shopify plans or apps may require reaching a spending threshold, like $200, before additional charges or fees are incurred. Check Shopify’s billing details in your account settings or consult their support to understand your specific plan’s terms and any related thresholds.
Hey, @JJGUY.
Thanks for posting this question.
Aside from the Shopify subscription, which can be monthly or annually, there are other charges that may apply, such as one-time charges (eg. domains, themes, brokered services, etc.) or shipping-related charges (eg. shipping labels, adjustments, and insurance). Whenever these charges reach a threshold of $200 combined, then Shopify will issue a separate invoice from your subscription charge. If you'd like to learn more, then we've got a guide on that here: About billing thresholds.
