I am getting this error:

 

There was a problem buying shipping labels Review order details and try again.

 

Shopify support chat help is not being answered by any advisor. Requested Shopify support callback, they disconnected the call before an advisor was on the line.

I am trying to purchase labels this morning and I am receiving this error message

 

"An unexpected error occurred"

I tried to start a chat but that was not working as well, I can basically just navigate on Shopify right now and not actually do anything. 

 

Any insight? Thanks

Same issue. And chat will not respond to me, either. Also - requested a callback and the call disconnected before an advisor came on the line.

I was just able to purchase/print shipping labels.  Maybe they've fixed the issue.

All of the sudden I am unable to purchase shipping labels. I receive an error code " Unexpected error" - I am now forced to ship everything manually through another service which is a huge hassle and negated the shopify carrier discounts. How do I contact Customer support? and email? a phone number? I am having a hard time finding any contact information for shopify I just keep getting redirected to this discussion board. 

 

I happy to troubleshoot. Anyideas welcome.

Thank you for responding. Do you know a customer service email or a portal where I can create a ticket? How are you contacting them? I've been using Shopify for years and never had an issue so this simply never came up.

Same problem on our end. Tried UPS and USPS with the same error.  Not sure we have tried to ship anything over the weekend, but we just noticed 5 minutes ago. (Monday Morning)

I have this same issue today out of no where. It usually fixes itself quickly but it has now been about an hour. I also can't get on a chat as that function is not working on Shopify either.

Having same issue here with UPS labels, as i assume it doesn't matter the shipping carrier at this point. (10:30am EST)

Is there any fix??? We need to be able to print labels to ship out orders... this is costing our business.

Same issue as well. When I googled the error message it seems it happened back june of 2020 also.. wonder how long till this is resolved? I have TWELVE orders to get out today 😞

I'm getting the same error.  According to the Shopify status page they're having some issues.  I have a callback requested from their support team, which I should receive in about an hour.  I've seen this happen before, and they usually fix within the day.  Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

Same issue.  I have to get labels created before I go to work and people purchased UPS labels for faster delivery. No tech support.  Was suppose to connect in 1 minute waiting 20 minutes on this notice.  This is so frustrating!!!! Probably should get shipstation.

This is day two with not being able to buy labels.  I get a message that says my order does not qualify for shipping..  Please advise!

Hi @Traybarber 

 

The original issue that this thread was created for has since been resolved. If you are experiencing issues with your shipping labels it is most likely caused by some other factors in your store. 

 

Where are you seeing the error message that the order doesn't qualify for shipping? Is this within your store admin or from the customer perspective at the checkout? 

 

We will also want to know what type of shipping rate you are attempting to use and the package dimensions and weight. Any and all information you can share about the setup and steps you are taking will assist us in troubleshooting this with you.

It is in the admin panel not from the customer side.

I was on Help Desk chat for over an hour and hung up. Now I got an email from chat agent, "We are currently experiencing an outage on our chats, shipping labels, and the Shopify Admin. Once I hear it has been resolved, I can reach out to you ASAP. Our chats are a bit broken currently. I can reach out to you via email. "

I am getting 2 errors. One saying I can’t purchase shipping labels at this time and the other saying shipping labels is temporarily unavailable. I’ve never seen this in the +1yr of using Shopify
