Abandoned Checkout Email Not going Through

Shopify please help me, I have a bunch of abandoned checkouts, I wanted to make sure that all the abandoned checkout emails are going through, so I decided to pretend that I am buying a product in my store but I abandoned it. The next day, the status shows that an email has been sent to me, unfortunately I did not received any abandoned checkout email. This shows that all the abandoned checkouts emails that shows sen I have in my store are not reaching out to the customers. Please help.
