I can't access the taxes and policy sections of my store. When I try to gain access it tells me to get administrative permission from the account owner but I am already the store owner. What can I do. ?

I am having the exact same problem. I can not access my Taxes&Duties or Policies pages, it says I need permission from the owner, but I am the owner. I have no other staff accounts or collaborations. I tried changing my password, clearing cache and cookies, uninstalling then reinstalling the app. Nothing works. Can not wait for an answer to this.

It sounds like you may have accidentally signed in under a staff account email address instead of the account owner email address. To confirm if this is the case please sign into your store admin and click on your user name in the upper right of the screen then choose "Manage Profile". In there you will be able to see the email address associated with the account currently logged in. Once you have confirmed that you will want to go back to the admin and head to Settings > Users and Permissions > Click on the name of the account owner account. This will show you the email address associated with the account owner login. Based on what you shared, the email signed in currently will not be the same as the one associated with the account owner account. 


You can sign in using the account owner email address and password and then transfer ownership to the alternate email address if you prefer.
