You can make automatic payments for your Shopify bills in INR using an eligible debit or credit card.
To update your Shopify billing to INR, please follow these instructions:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Billing
In the Payment methods section, under Billing currency, click the ‘…’ button, and then click Change billing currency.
Click INR (Indian Rupee) to change your billing currency to Indian Rupees.
Sign-up for automated billing by re-entering your existing card details OR any other eligible India bank issued card from the list of supported issuers here. Note that you may need to enable recurring payments with your credit card provider.
Once your details are updated, you will receive your monthly Shopify bills in INR, along with an itemized breakdown of fees and conversion rates for all future bills. Charges will be initiated automatically to the card you added in your Billing settings. This new way to pay will only apply to new bills . As of May 19, 2022, we will start freezing the stores with outstanding bills in INR.
