Add a color option to Collapsible Row - Row Content?

I'm currently working with the Dawn theme and have set up collapsible descriptions for my product pages. I would like to add a color picker option to the "Row Content" of each collapsible row, that allows me to change the text color directly from the Row Content.

I've already added a text_color setting to the schema in collapsible-content.liquid, and I updated the Liquid code to include the inline style. 

But, the color option is still not showing up in the Shopify Customizer for the collapsible row.

Does anyone know if it's possible to add a color picker for the collapsible row content, or is there something specific I need to do to make it work?
