Add a preferred delivery date?

I'd like my customers to be able to add their preferred delivery date at checkout. It’s more of “here’s your earliest expected delivery date”, then giving them the option to make it later or choose a specific day.  If there is a FREE FOREVER app that will be perfect, I don't want a paid app 🙏

Welcome to Shopify Community.

I doubt there is a FREE FOREVER app, that will allow you to display your own text at checkout page.

What you can do is, with simple modification, you can show a future date by adding the {current date + days} on your product page.

Alternative, you can also modify your Order Confirmation email to show the expected delivery date.

Are you using Shopify plus? Can you please share your store url?

You can check out free trials of apps like Order Delivery Date by LogBase.

A custom solution will work on Shopify plus

You might want to check out the “Order Delivery Date” app or visit to the halloween 2024. It offers basic features for free, allowing customers to select a preferred delivery date at checkout.

Hi @hannahnomadic, it's not a free app, but Flare - Delivery Date Picker (link) will allow you customers to select a preferred / estimated delivery date. To integrate at checkout specifically, you would need to be on a Shopify Plus account
